The Fairmont Board of Realtors is poised to accelerate gains from last year. Our membership is growing in numbers and enthusiasm. I began my leadership term with a listening tour, visiting our brokerages and members one-on-one with an intent to hear their comments, insights, and concerns. I have a singular goal: to Celebrate the Value of a Realtor. Through these sessions two important pillars emerged. Realtors bring tremendous value in real estate transactions (through professionalism, local market knowledge, negotiating skills and more), and Realtors bring critical value to our communities (through community service, civic engagement, and support). The Fairmont Board of Realtors will be launching a positive messaging campaign in Fairmont, Marion County, and North Central WV in late spring/early summer to help our neighbors see and celebrate how Realtors make a dynamic impact for their clients and as citizens invested in the local community.
