I am Anthony J. Sparacino and I am the President of the Beckley Board of REALTORS® for the 2025 term.

I have been the Broker of Raleigh Real Estate & Development since 2004. It was founded by myself and my partner to explore and participate in real estate ventures we encountered as part of our business connections.

I have been an attorney practicing in West Virginia for many years and real estate has always been a component of my practice. In the early part of my career, my practice was primarily real estate, conducting title examinations and handling closings for residential and commercial business. I had the privilege of conducting some of the first secondary market transactions in the State.

I assume the helm of the Beckley Board of REALTORS® in what I would define as an unprecedented time in our industry. This year will entail many challenges never before experienced by the real estate industry. It will be necessary for all real estate professionals to make very difficult decisions in how to proceed with their career.

As President, I view my responsibility to include reviewing all available options to the Board, providing them with the information necessary to make logical and informed decisions about their choices and then guide them, to the extent I can, to implement what changes are decided upon.

Eastern Panhandle Board of REALTORS®

Cultivating Legacy

Greetings from Angela Horner, incoming President of the Eastern Panhandle Board of REALTORS®. I am a lifelong resident of the Eastern Panhandle driven by my deep-rooted commitment to community and family.

I began my real estate career 23 years ago and hold my license at Re/Max Distinctive in Charles Town. I was honored as the Eastern Panhandle Board REALTOR® of the Year in 2022 and received the Distinguished Service Award in 2024. I have served on the Eastern Panhandle Board since 2018 as a director and officer, past chair of the Public Relations and current chair of the Education Committee. Currently I am a director for WVAR and will serve at the 2025 Education Committee Chair.

I am honored to lead the EPBR membership in 2025. My vision this incoming year is to inspire all members to reflect on our journey, our direction, and the enduring legacy we leave behind. This vision emphasizes strengthening our roles as Realtors, mentors, and community leaders. Cultivating a legacy starts with the actions we take today and aligning our goals with our values, mentoring the next generation and leaving a foundation that will endure for years to come. Legacy is not built overnight; it is cultivated through consistent dedication to excellence, integrity and service. I hope to introduce opportunities for our leadership to gain skills and knowledge to impact and guide our membership for many years to come, create more opportunities for EPBR leadership to collaborate and network with brokerages to share EPBR’s mission and opportunities available to all our membership, and to elevate the membership experience by offering a membership engagement week. I commit to create meaningful opportunities that empower our members to lead with purpose and ensure a legacy cultivated for future generations within our membership and community.

Mercer-Tazewell County Board of REALTORS®

Brian Cox, 2025 President

Morgantown Board of REALTORS®

Aaron Marko, 2025 President

As the incoming President of the Morgantown Board of REALTORS®, I’d first like to say how grateful I am for the opportunity to serve such a great community of real estate professionals.

REALTORS®, lenders, home inspectors and other affiliated professions come together to make the process of transferring ownership of properties both smooth and efficient.

Our teamwork not only serves the interests of our clients by ensuring they receive the best representation and advice, but our work also adds significantly to the local economy.

I feel that, in many ways, the recent NAR lawsuit has brought some unfair scrutiny upon our profession. The old saying goes, “Any publicity is good publicity”. But in this case, I would have to disagree. The truth is that few people get to see the demanding work we, as REALTORS®, put in to ensure the success of our clients.

Typically fueled by prodigious amounts of caffeine, REALTORS® start early and often work late into the night.

In addition to the long hours, we also strive to give back to the community by funding, facilitating, and participating in many charitable events.

Anyone who knows me knows that ensuring REALTOR® safety is always one of my top priorities. But beyond safety I will focus much of my effort as President toward building and rebuilding goodwill with the amazing community that we have the privilege to serve.

Parkersburg Area Association of REALTORS®

Melary Banziger, 2025 President

As a seasoned real estate professional and 15 year member of Parkersburg Area Association of REALTORS®, I am deeply honored to continue in the role of president for the upcoming term. My commitment to this position stems from a passion of fostering a culture of collaboration among our members and promoting a positive presence of Realtors in our local community.

In the year ahead, my leadership goals focus on three core priorities: growth, charity, and advocacy. First, I aim to promote the educational opportunities available for professional growth throughout the year to all members. By investing in the development of our members, we empower each other to excel in an evolving market.

Second, I will prioritize charitable initiatives that reflect our commitment to giving back to the communities we serve. By organizing volunteer efforts, supporting local causes, and fostering partnerships with nonprofit organizations, we can make a meaningful difference while demonstrating the heart of our profession.

Finally, I pledge to be an advocate for the needs of our members at the local, state, and national levels. Together, we can amplify our collective voice on issues impacting property ownership, fair housing, and economic vitality.

Along with the support of WVAR, I look forward to building upon our shared values and achievements. It is my hope that this term will be remembered as a time of growth and unity, strengthening our board’s legacy and impact for years to come.

Potomac Highlands Board of REALTORS®

Taylor Kiggins, 2025 President

Hello! My name is Taylor Kiggins and I am honored to serve as the 2025 Board President for the Potomac Highlands Board of REALTORS®. I am a licensed Associate Broker in both West Virginia and Maryland with Coldwell Banker Home Town Realty. My fabulous broker, Amy White, has been an incredible mentor to me throughout my real estate journey.

I reside in Keyser, WV, with my husband, Colby, and our energetic four-year-old daughter who keeps us on our toes and inspires me to continually grow and be a better person. I have a deep love for animals and a strong passion for supporting local organizations that focus on our youth. As a proud supporter of 4-H and FFA, I believe in investing in the future leaders of our community.

Real estate has always been more than just a career for me—it’s a passion. Even before becoming licensed, I was fascinated by the market and enjoyed browsing homes in my free time. Helping people achieve their goals and guiding them toward their dreams is what truly drives me.

In 2024, as a board director, I contributed to the growth of our affiliate membership program, helping raise the most funds since its inception. I also graduated from the WVAR Leadership Academy. As President for 2025, my goal is to inspire my fellow REALTORS® to embrace community involvement, challenge the misconceptions about our profession, and play an active role in the growth and well-being of the people we serve.

I’m excited about the upcoming year, where we will focus on fostering new ideas through committees and collaborations with my fellow board members: Eric Riggleman, President-Elect; Sara Coon, Secretary; Micheline Williams, Treasurer; Katie Gattens, Immediate Past President; and directors Bobby Lannon, Josh Morgart, and Erin Rushing.

My motto, “Together We Build, Together We Lead,” reflects my commitment to working alongside this incredible team to make a meaningful impact on our community and the real estate industry. Here’s to an inspiring and productive year ahead!

Weirton Board of REALTORS®

Bill Raymond looks forward to proudly serving as the President of the Weirton Board of REALTORS®. A licensed real estate agent since 2016, Bill has established himself as a top producer in the Ohio Valley, demonstrating unwavering dedication and a passion for helping clients achieve their real estate goals. After successfully leading a dedicated team, he took the bold step of opening his own brokerage, focusing on nurturing and developing the talented agents who join him.

Bill believes that effective leadership in real estate goes beyond transactions; it’s about cultivating relationships and giving back to the community that supports us. His personal life as a full-time uncle to an incredible six-year-old has deepened his appreciation for family, tradition, and creating lasting memories—most notably their cherished yearly beach trips.

Under Bill’s leadership, the Weirton Board of REALTORS® is committed to enhancing community involvement through annual fundraising initiatives and the revival of scholarship programs for local schools. Having previously served as Director and Vice President, Bill is honored to continue fostering growth and collaboration within this vibrant community. With a background in education prior to his real estate career, Bill found his true passion in helping people find their ideal homes. Weston-Buckhannon Board of REALTORS®

My name is Gary Weaver, President of the Weston Buckhannon Board of REALTORS®. I am a lifetime resident of Lewis County, WV, where my wife and I raised our 3 kids and are expecting our 6th grandchild in May. I graduated from Fairmont State College and have traveled to many places, but none compares to Wild, Wonderful West Virginia. A big change came with my retirement from the West Virginia Division of Highways two years ago. Now I can focus more time on family, volunteering and real estate. I have been a Real Estate Agent in Lewis County for forty years and recently received my Associate Brokers License.

Many changes have taken place in the Real Estate market in the last forty years. I plan to work with the local board in understanding the new Buyers Agency Agreement, increase communication between the National and Local Board of REALTORS Associations and become more active in community service. Being active in community service is something that is part of my life and I hope to encourage other realtors to become more involved in ways they can make a difference in their local area. I would like all of my colleagues in the local association to feel comfortable in reaching out to me with any questions or concerns. I am hoping the ensuing year will be a great year for the Weston Buckhannon Board of REALTORS®.

Wheeling Board of REALTORS®

As the 2025 President of the Wheeling Board of REALTORS®, I am honored to serve and represent our dedicated membership. With over a decade of experience in real estate, my journey has been shaped by a commitment to professionalism, advocacy, and community.

In addition to my work with Fathom Realty, I am proud to serve as Vice Chair of the WVAR State Convention Committee and as the West Virginia Representative for the NAR Major Investor Council Committee. These roles have provided me with a unique perspective on the challenges we face and the opportunities we can embrace at the local, state, and national levels.

This year, my focus is on fostering growth and unity within our board. My goals include strengthening member engagement through education, collaboration, and networking, ensuring our voices are heard in advocacy efforts that protect property rights and promote fair housing, and equipping our members to navigate the evolving real estate landscape.

I also believe in the power of partnerships—whether connecting with state and national associations or building bridges within our community, collaboration will be at the heart of my leadership. Together, we can elevate our profession, create positive change, and ensure that REALTORS® remain a vital part of the fabric of our community.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve. I look forward to working with you to make 2025 a year of progress and achievement for the Wheeling Board of REALTORS®.
