REALTORS – a national or state legislative call for action is launched.
HOT TOPIC – Mini white papers covering important trending real estate issues at the state and local level containing historical context, summary of current research, legal summaries of court cases impacting the policy and recent advocacy efforts of state and local associations.
SL POLICY – NAR produces a bimonthly report entitled the Real Estate Industry Impact Watch Report which is released every other Thursday that provides legislative tracking on eviction moratoriums, fair housing, foreclosure, landlord and tenant (including short-term rentals), licensure (including changes to pre-licensing, post-licensing and continuing education and examination procedures and requirements) and notarization.
MONITOR – The State Legislative Monitor helps association staff identify and monitor state legislation
Grant Opportunities
Placemaking Grant – funds projects that transform vacant lots, underutilized alleys, or overgrown green spaces into new public spaces for the community to gather.
Rural Outreach Grant – support state and local REALTOR® association initiatives, including trainings, forums, events, studies, and ordinance drafting, on a wide range of rural issues such broadband, well and septic, open space preservation, environmental standards, and planning and zoning issues.
